Perched on the edge of Manchester city centre, The East Manchester Academy wanted to create a brand image inspired by the city’s rich creative heritage. The graphic language created captured the essence of this by bringing a mixture of music, sport, literature, art, and science iconography together with the Mancunian edge of rebellion and of “doing things differently”. The result is a vibrant, energetic style which we applied to signage, prospectus, posters, and more.
